Cherry Gloss Large Jar Candle

This review is based on an actual purchase of this candle NOT a gifting of it.. When I saw Voluspa, one of my favorite candle brands, had done a cherry fragrance I knew it had to be good. While jumping on the bandwagon of cherry scents ever since Tom Fords Lost Cherry craze, Voluspa typically delivers a great product never the less so I was excited for this new one. Unfortunately though there is barely ANY throw of ANY scent once lit! I am well versed on candles and have unfortunately been disappointed with the throw of recent releases Voluspa has offered. The throws of older scents from the line, like French Cade Lavender, would EASILY fill a room but these latest releases dont even fill my bathroom! Please dont skimp on the oils Voluspa and just bring the throw back! The jar is gorgeous, as always, but the scent is invisible!

Purchased two candles as a birthday gift and they were sent to the recipient loosely packed together in the same box with absolutely no protective wrapping. The candles arrived completely shattered and when I called Nordstrom to request they be resent, I was told to have the recipient either return them to a Nordstrom store or mail them back. Completely ridiculous request to ask someone to return shattered glass!!! On top of that, the items are now sold out and they wouldn’t assist with getting different candles sent as a replacement. So frustrating!

purchasing Voluspa candles for a long time. Years ago, they were beautifully fragranced candles in equally lovely vessels. However, lately the throw is very faint and decidedly disappointing, and the new classic candles are several ounces smaller. The price goes up and the quality goes down, which sadly seems to be the trend these days. I miss the old Voluspa.
