Chenille Lattice Duvet Cover

I would give 0 stars if I could. This duvet cover ripped (see photo) within 2 months of using it. It has only been washed twice since opening it and ripped in such a precise manner that it is clearly a defect.

After one wash, the duvet ripped in three places. this wasn’t the quality I expected from Nordstrom. Besides quality, the duvet itself is beautiful, color is exactly as described, and has corner ties to hold in the down comforter. Sad but I will be forced to exchange.

I was looking for a solid color, but wanted a little something extra. The chenille lattice is the perfect addition. The color is actually a little more gray than what the picture shows, but the color is fine. I was expecting a little closer to oyster.

First, let me say that I am new to duvet covers. I purchased a very inexpensive, thin comforter due to the very cold winter we are having and thought I'd give the duvet a try. This duvet cover in grey is beautiful but it is thin and I don't know how many washings it will withstand. Second, being new to this look, I had the most awful time trying to get the comforter inserted properly. I think I lost 5 lbs. and almost called a priest to perform an exorcism when I thought my head was going to spin around! The finished look is very pretty and I'm on the fence about purchasing the matching pillow shams (the price for 2 is almost as much as the duvet cover). Also, I have the regular/queen on a twin bed and it barely touches the floor on all sides. Spring will be here soon and I will be changing to a quilt cover on my bed. Don't know how the rest of you have patience performing this task.

I had purchased this a while back but just opened it today. Just like another review, I was surprised to see that there are no shams in my package. The picture is very misleading since it includes the shams. Also, the quality is not very good. Based on reading the other reviews, I see many have complained about the duvet falling apart after the first wash. I’m quite apprehensive about washing this duvet, especially with no shams I’m going to return it.

Can’t tell you how much I love the look and feel. A heavier weight fabric that I’m hoping will hold up better than our pottery barn duvet cover. It’s a very soft gray but darker than “off- white” as some described it.
