Faux Wrap Camisole Dress

For Reference: 5'7", 140 lbs, 34D or 36C Style: I really like the style of this dress and the quality seems like it is well made. The color is brighter than shown online - although it's always hard to tell depending on the computer. I like the front hem and how there are layers - adds depth and can easily hide a few extra curves. :-) There is a form fitting slip underneath the material. Size: I think the dress runs a little big. I typically wear a S or M in shirts and dresses - depending on the style and brand. Before I purchased this online, I tried it on in store in both a S and XS. (I never buy an XS). The S has some extra room - particularly around the chest and waist areas. In the picture above, I'm wearing a normal - lightly lined bra and still have extra room. The XS on the other hand fit great everywhere except for the slip underneath - that was a bit tight and the material does not stretch. The biggest consideration when buying this dress is the length. I'm 5'7" and when trying it on with flats - it is dragging on the floor. I also tried it on with 4" heels and it still touches the ground - just slightly. Both pictures are added for reference. I will likely get it altered, which I have never had to do before. That's a bit disappointing - but again - depends on your height and how you plan to wear it.

I had high hopes for this dress for Easter/Spring but the fit was terrible. I am large chested and it was still baggy up top, but the worst part is the mini dress length lining underneath is so tight. Solid 2 sizes smaller then the dress size and then it causes the dress to cling and be snug where the pleating is on the front. It’s a hot mess.
