Checks all the boxes

Extremely soft and doesn’t slip around like other silk pillow cases do. I had skin reactions to other silk pillowcases but not with this one. Also, the zipper I think is a necessary component on these kinds of pillowcases so that you don’t have to put your pillow back in its case every morning. This zipper is well made and sleek so it doesn’t get in the way and I don’t foresee any zipper snagging issues. It definitely helps with retaining moisture on skin and hair since I sleep on my side and back, I noticed my face had more product on it than usual by the morning. My hair looked less messy as well, giving a smoothing effect. The size is larger than standard pillowcases, it’s very roomy so you’d definitely be able to fit the fluffiest queen pillow inside.

Beware - Product Does Not Match Description

I recently purchased and received a King pillowcase. It came in the Slip box. Both the box and the online product details above reflect that the pillowcase is 100% silk with an invisible zipper. However, the product that I received has a tag which reflects 100% microfiber and no invisible zipper. There is also no “Slip” branding anywhere on the actual pillowcase (it does not include the branded embroidery as shown the photo). When I contacted Nordstrom customer service, their solution was that I “can return it.” Just want other potential customers to be aware that they may be receiving what appears to be a counterfeit, or if not counterfeit, a lesser quality product than what Nordstrom is advertising.

Not a Slip pillowcase

What is going on?!? Received my order today and immediately knew what I’d received was NOT a Slip pillowcase. What I received is a fake knock off. First off, it’s the wrong color. Second it’s satin, not silk. The tag hidden inside says EXQ. Slip pillowcases are luxe, real silk and have the word SLIP sown on the top left corner.

Waste of money

I was given one as a Christmas gift 2 years ago. I bought a second one so I would have a pair. A read the reviews on the this site and thought maybe a few customers got a bad batch since most reviews were positive. I followed the care instructions but here we are! I am very disappointed and do not recommend this product at all.

buy in store for these

Every time I’ve tried ordering slip products through Nordstrom I either get an empty box or a different item. Save yourselves the trouble and buy these in store to make sure you’re getting the right item. The first time I got this I thought the picture was wrong online because it shows a white border so I ordered another to see if maybe I got sent a different one, nope they’re not even branded, it’s generic blue pillowcases and though they are allegedly silk they’re not the same quality as the slip ones. Packaging was fully sealed in the slip packaging and bag with sticker seal. Double check your pillowcases!!

Please save your money

Received as a gift and at first was so excited as I’ve heard and read that sleeping on silk is better for your skin and hair. That said I purchased the “special” detergent (which is basically Woolite in a fancy bottle) and followed the care instructions. Most people including myself, wash sheets weekly. I started hand washing the pillowcase which was fine in the beginning but became a pain. Then I started machine washing gentle. It fell apart after one year, lost its sheen and luster even with the “special” detergent. This became a project and hence it’s in the trash. I do feel bad but the care became a thorn in my side. But it makes sense as you wouldn’t wash a silk blouse over and over again either. In the end, and I hate to say this, save your money and order the cheapy ones on Amazon and save your self the wallet burn.

cheap, flimsey lasts about 60 days

I wash in cool water & hang to dry. Tears along zipper seam. Both purchases are trash after two months. Not worth the price for basically disposable items.
