What it is: A gentle yet effective scrub that uses polishing power from nature to help reduce the look of pores and reveal smoother-looking skin.
What it does: It helps whisk away dull, dead skin cells and surface impurities thanks to the natural polishing power of bamboo and mineral silica for a refreshed and more refined look.
How to use: After cleansing, massage onto damp skin using circular motions. Avoid the eye area. Rinse and pat dry. Use up to four times per week.

The best
I've tried lots and scrubs work well for me but this is one of the very best.very fine particles which give a really thorough scrub as hard or soft as you like,smells superb and massages with silky ease.After washing off not only cleanses skin but also moisturizes with skin that is soft,sky and transformed. Similar to ROC pads but I also use proraso mens scrub for pre shaving and also if I want a bit of the best heavy heavy motorbiking scrub,fantastic.

I have been using Origins forever and have never found a decent replacement for "Never A Dull Moment" scrub.... this definitely isn't it! The consistency is thin, granular and highly abrasive.

I've used Modern Friction for years. I feel like after a long day, it really cleaned out my pores and exfoliated the dead skin. It has been unavailable for some time now and I tried the Checks and Balances scrub. I used C&B frothy face wash and love it. Unfortunately, I don't feel this scrub is a suitable replacement for Modern Friction, it's a bit of a disappointment. In the last year there has been updates to a number of products and none were for the better.

Not as good as Modern Friction
This is not a replacement for modern friction unfortunately. Feels too harsh MF was gentler and more effective. Was the only product I have really stayed loyal to even though I cannot spend as much on skincare anymore.

Origins Modern Friction Nature's Gentle Dermabrasion
Where is this product. I can't find it anymore. I have used this for many many years. I cannot use all of your products because I have had some skin reactions from them. This product I do not have any problems with, and this is one of my favorite product that you provide.

It's OK, but not as good as Modern Friction
I used Modern Friction for decades as my go-to for exfoliation cleansing. There was one in the shower and another on my sink. Thinking this was the same thing and I could not find MF anymore, I bought two of these. The beads do the same thing, but there's an ingredient that inflames my skin a bit. It tingles and turns a little bit. I still prefer MF and wish that Origins would bring it back. Why do manufacturers change what has been popular and working? Maybe because they make more money with a new product. I'm 71, and MF never irritated my face all these years. Go figure. I would still recommend this product, but it's not as good as MF was.

Underrated
This is underrated and worth the cost. A little goes a long way and the grains really make my skin feel smooth and ready for skin care to soak up! If you like the Khiels micro dermabrasion scrub, this is similar but more gentle.
