Perfect Summer Sundress

This dress will be a staple this summer for me. Most importantly, it has pockets. It also doesn't require ironing, very comfortable, easy to put on, easy to wear. I might even be able to wear it to work with a t-shirt underneath. Highly recommend!

Not for me

I thought this dress looked interesting, but on me, it was neither fun nor cute nor any of the other positive adjectives I see in some reviews. The elastic at the back and the hem created an enormous pillowcase effect, made worse by the pockets flopping loose inside the dress directly over my stomach. I can't think of a more unflattering silhouette than this one. Some reviewers thought maybe you needed to be tall to pull this off, but at 5'9", I can say that isn't the case.

Sizing off

This dress didn't look nearly as good on me as it looks in the picture. I am 5'5", weight 150 and wear a 36D bra, yet the bust of this dress in a medium was WAY too large for me. Medium is my size, generally, in Eileen Fisher clothing. This dress was so off on sizing in the bust it looks dumpy. Otherwise, the dress is really cute and well made.

Wish it were in petite!

I loved this dress, but it was too long. The cute hem style does not easily allow for alterations, so, sadly, I returned it.

2 sizes larger than my normal size

This is a wonderful dress!!! Style, fabric, comfort, & coolness in the summeriest hot summer days. Size two sizes down from your usual size in most brands!!! I’m a size 10 in most…12 in high designer brands on bottom only. Ideally, I need this in a small; possibly even an extra small. Eileen Fisher always runs large. This one takes the prize.
