Calessi Pointy Toe Pump

I was looking to purchase a black pair of pumps for work and saw these Charles David at a great price. I was a bit skeptical since they were pretty inexpensive and now I know why. I used them to work on two ocassions and the leather on the back of the pump has already rubbed off from my driving commute. The pump looks nice, is comfortable, although sizing is not exact (runs a tiny bit large but not enough for me to go down half a size) so my heel comes off the shoe when I walk but the quality is not there. I would not re-purchase.

I ordered the gold in size 7 at first (my typical size). They were beautiful, just too big. I then ordered a 6.5, still too big, they were slipping off while walking, plus hurt my feet. My arch was sticking way out of the shoe. And the quality of the smaller size wasn’t as good as the larger. There were scrapes in the gold texture and not as shiny. May look awesome on other feet. Just not mine.

They look cheap and are a hard leather. I can’t find good full leather shoes without breaking the bank. I’d rather spend the money and be comfortable and love them. Will be returning.

Beautiful shoe! I usually wear a 7.5 but often size down to 7 when buying pumps because my feet are quite narrow. I ordered a 7 and 7.5 in these and, sadly, have to send both back. Charles David tends to run TTS for me so the 7 is too small but I can’t keep the 7.5 from slipping off my heels while walking. I really wish I could keep these!! They are gorgeous!

This shoe is a great looking pump. Be advised that the sides do not come up too high on the arch so they are not as comfortable as I would have liked. (less support from the shoe on the sides). I added a Dr. Sholls pad under the instep to stop my foot from sliding into the front, which I usually do with very high, pointed shoes.
