A delicacy for chocolate lovers who recognize qua
Gourmet chocolate lovers should ignore the naysayers as these are top quality and flavor truffles. I just returned from a trip to the UK and picked up some at the Duty Free shop in the airport. Fell in love so deep that we had to visit their London store to bring home several boxes. The quality of these chocolates goes many grades beyond the big chocolate producers in the US. I'm so glad Nordstrom carries these as I will be ordering several when my rations run out.

Past The Best Before Date
I bought this as a nice gift for my girlfriend for an anniversary. I ordered it on the 17th of May, it came on the 20th of May. The best before date was the 9th of May. While I don't believe that this will ruin the chocolate, I think it is absolutely ridiculous to charge this much for something and then not make sure that it's not past it's best by date! Completely and utterly ridiculous.

Save your money don't buy these.
These are overrated. I bought the salt and biscuit one and all I was able to taste is sea salt. The packaging is awful. There were crumbs all over the packaging when it arrived and it was just one big mess.

Regarding Best By Dates on Box
In European countries and most other places in the world, the day comes first, then the month, and then the year. So, the box of truffles from London was probably received well in advance of its expiration date.
