Chantelle Lingerie
A pioneer in lingerie, Chantelle was launched in 1949 as a shapewear manufacturer, and began producing bras in 1960. Known for creating the first seamless bra with molded cups in 1972, Chantelle Intimates has grown to become a world leader in French lingerie. Its first factory in Epernay, France, is still in operation today, where a new generation of seamstresses use time-honored techniques.

Great fit!
My girls are 34dd, so my goal has always been to minimize. I used to make the mistake of buying minimizer bras that pushed them in but also out sideways, making me look larger from the front. The lovely lady working at Nordstroms introduced me to this bra, and I LOVE it. I feel well-supported, and it looks great under everything. I've always worn bras that have WIDE ugly straps and back closure; this one is not so.

Had Potential
This bra had potential. The only thing kept me from keeping it was the band. The cup was perfect but the band was too tight. I wore it to work to break it in but after four hours. It left red imprinted lines from the wire on my skin. The wire was digging in my rib cage and it hurt. I had to return. I'm disappointed in Chantelle. Their bras are usually on point. The cup was perfect, just wish the band was, too.

Love This Bra!
I love Chantelle bras. As far a t-shirt bras go this is one of my favorites. I wear a 32E in Chantelle and this particular style is supportive and has full cup coverage. The small details of this bra is nice too. The cup shape is not at all like a previous reviewer describes. If you like Chantelle, this bra will not disappoint.

a 32 D is not always a 32 D
This bra is best for a larger bust. I normally wear a 32D in Chantelle but in this bra, the cup was huge on me. It is a "true" D cup. If I am confusing you, look at a 32 D, a 36 D, and a 38 D, the cups get bigger as the band size increases in ALL manufacturers bras. The other Rive Gauche, with the lace on the cup, runs a bit small compared to the regular Chantelle t-shirt bras and the non-padded 3 part Rive Gauche, a different fit too, I have to go down to a B cup in that! Go try them on and you'll see the difference but find your fit, they are the best bras around, I won't wear anything else.

Band is really small
I like this bra, but not as a replacement for model #3781 -- the sizing seems WAY off -- I measured the band vs. my #3781 (which has evidently been discontinued) and it is a good 2 inches smaller ... no wonder it is uncomfortable. Hoping it stretches out, and still looking for a replacement for the #3781. I am a 32DD (or E) and can't seem to find anything that has the 3 column/3 row fastener.

Runs very small compared to style 3281
The sizing on the Rive Gauches bras are very inconsistent. I wear a 32H in the style 3281, the band is so much smaller on this style 3286 that I had to go up 2 band sizes and one cup size to a 36DDDD. Once I found the right size, it is a great bra, very comfortable.
