What it does: It's rich in plant stem cell extracts that moisturize to help neutralize accumulated photo damage and soothe skin, softening the look of redness. Rose de Mai Essence, extracted from one of the world's rarest roses, infuses the formula with a uniquely uplifting aroma. Sweet pea stem cell extract helps moisturize and neutralize accumulated photo damage created by UV rays while recharging and lessening the look of redness; wild pansy extract has immediate and long-term hydrating properties, reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles; and niacinamide moisturizes and brightens the look of uneven skin tone. Matrixyl 3000™, a unique blend of peptides, helps promote a more toned appearance and reduces the look of wrinkles. Additional ingredients soothe visible redness, soothe dry skin and help maintain a balanced skin barrier.
How to use: Apply morning and night onto your face, neck and décolletage. It may be used as a moisture boost under your regular cream for drier skin.

This cream feels like such a luxe treat: the jar is beautiful and hefty, it smells delicious, and it has a gel-like consistency that spreads easily and sinks in quickly. A little goes a long way. The best part is how well it moisturizes. I use it at night, and by morning my skin looks and feels dewy and plump . Every other moisturizer I've tried has worn off or sunk in so that by morning my skin feels dry again. Not this one. But it's not at all heavy feeling! Amazing.

Absolutely not worth the money
I had a big sample of this so was able to use it for several days.
It was fine - slightly thin, almost gel like consistency, which isn’t to my taste, but fine
Then when I looked online to see how much it cost I was shocked!! No way is it worth that much money! Even if it had cost £60 I would have said there are better moisturisers on the market

Delightfully fragrant & effective
This cream smells divine. It's very hydrating & contains effective anti aging ingredients. It's well worth the money because you don't need to use a lot of product to reap it's benefits. Perfect.

Refreshing, light, soothing
I'm a redhead with rosacea. Dry flaky and acne prone. Nightmare. This cream is a gift from God. Put it in on at night and wake up with calm refreshed skin. And a little goes a very long way. Spreads so easily it's amazing. I'm very hard to please. Chantecaille is a cut above.

Silky Moisterizing Heaven
This has a really nice gel like consistency that spreads very easily over the skin and absorbs quickly - probably my favorite quality in a good moisturizer. I purchased this shortly after moving from a very humid climate to a very dry climate. My skin was going a little crazy with the adjustment in terms of irritation and redness. This moisturizer really helped calm my skin down and reduce the redness. It is also paraben free - which is a must for me. I got other items from this line and have been very pleased. I also had virtually no break outs with this moisturizer. I am not sure it made me look 10 years younger..although it made my skin look and feel great...so I am holding out my 5 stars until I find that cream! ;)

healing and hydrating
This cream is very hydrating and has a nice fresh scent. I live in a very hot climate and have suffered from cracked skin around the eyes. Since I have begun using this cream the cracks have healed. I recently purchased a second jar to have as a back up so I am never without this product.

Truly Amazing!
I have been using Chantecaille skin care more than 10 years. The times I’ve tried other brands I’m reminded why I stay loyal to Chantecaille. For me nothing else compares. Rose de Mai Cream is simply the best at truly making a difference in the way my skin looks, and the good results show. It moisturizes perfectly, brightens, and helps with wrinkles. I feel the price point is fair and worth it, when I consider the quality, size of jar and very little product needed. I use all the Rose de Mai products, as well as the Bio Lifting serum, and Stress Repair Concentrate eye cream. For reference, age is early 60’s.
