Nice Formula and Color
I have a hard time with most of the so-called neutral shades of lipstick. I never had a lot of natural color in my lips and I'm in my late 60s now, so many of the lighter neutral shades make me look completely washed out, and many of the deeper shades are too brown to be flattering for my complexion. I also don't like the way I look now in the very bright colors that I might have worn when I was younger. I ordered the Tamboti shade of this lipstick and it works for me. It's deeper than a "your lips but better" color, but it's not too dark for me and it's one I can reach for no matter what color I'm wearing. I find the formula to be very lightweight and comfortable. That means it's not super long wearing, but that doesn't bother me, and I can recommend this product.

Not as expected
I love Chantecaille lipstick - they are all I wear. However, the Laurel is awful - it left a bright pink stain on my lips. This one is going back, and I'm hopeful this is a fluke and not a signal that they've changed their formulas.

Best Lipstick Ever
Chantecaille’s Lip Veil has a luxuriously smooth texture that makes lips look & feel their best. I chose the color Honeypot which matches the color sample shown online, a lovely nude tone, slightly pink, very natural. One light coat made my lips look better than natural, but not made up. Two coats, more firmly applied, added more color and a polished look for going out for special events. When I really like a lipstick I often buy a second to have one at home and one for my handbag. Though this lipstick is priced high for me, that will likely happen. The company’s charitable causes are noteworthy.

Great lipstick and helps Elephants!
I got the Moabi color (which is a soft blue based rose pink) and Azalea (a blue based vibrant red.) Both colors are so easy to apply, they don't bleed or move around and they feel amazing. So comfortable on the lips, even in winter when my lips get really dry. The formula is really flattering (not glossy or thick) and looks so pretty on the lips. They don't stay on all day, so you do have to reapply. I found using liner under extends the wear a bit but not enough to bother since that then changes the colors a tiny bit.
And you get to help elephants while buying lipstick, what could be better? ;)

Healing lipstick
With my first use of this lipstick I noticed that my parched lips were immediately comfortable and moisturized. Honeypot is the perfect neutral I carry in my bag. Chantecaille is CRUELTY-FREE and donates a portion of it's profits to wildlife conservation. I am a Chantecaille convert and will purchase over and over again!

Moisturizing and long-lasting color
It's a happy accident that I found this. I went in the store to pick up one thing and passed by the Chantecaille display on my way out. Tried on the Rock Rose and bought it on impulse. The price was shocking, but no regrets. It goes on with a slight sheen then settles into a soft matte that stays on a long time. After using lip veil exclusively for one week, my usually chapped and flaky lips have felt healthy.

Great, lightweight, beautiful lipstick!
The formula is the best I have ever seen in a lipstick. It is so lightweight. I bought honeypot so I can’t say how the color payoff is for the darker colors but for honeypot it was good. No weird taste. No lipstick teeth either. It worked well for me with Charlotte Tilbury liner in Hot Gossip. I know everyones lips are different pigment but for me it works great. I love this lipstick. I am waiting on another color in the mail right now.
