I went to the Chanel counter asking about a concealer. I had been frustrated with the many concealers I had tried and wanted to try something new. The SA suggested I mix the concealer with some of the eye cream. First she applied the eye cream and then mixed some concealer with the eye cream. She applied to one eye first so I could see the difference. I was amazed at how quickly my under eye puffiness went away - in the time she was applying the cream. I didn't think it was possible for the puffiness to go away. I am sold on this cream and apply it morning and night. I now use the Chanel concealer which I also love.

I have NEVER found a product that addresses puffiness like Chanel Sublimage. I cannot figure out why this one works while the HUNDREDS of other ones I have tried don't, and I really don't care just as long as they don't stop making it. It's a non-negotiable any time I try to be budget conscious. It's pretty much one of only products I use that isn't expendable; nothing does what it does.

It's hard to pay this price for an eye cream, but it's so super rich and non-irritating that after going through a whole pot of it, I can't buy anything else. My eyelids are super-sensitive, especially in the cold winter weather. Most eye creams, even the ones that are supposed to be gentle, like Clinique's, cause them to get red and flaky. Not a good look anywhere but especially around your eyes. La mer eye concentrate was ok, but this is better. Just as gentle but with a richer formula that really feels like it works to moisturize the area for hours and hours. I use it morning and night and while it hasn't made any fine lines disappear, it does diminish the look (probably thanks to high silicones concentrate) and makes the area well-hydrated, likely fighting off new lines. I have been told recently that I look younger. I'm sure this didn't hurt!

I didnt want to like this because of the price tag. I just dont think of myself worthy of this cream. I mean I can't be walking around as a college student putting $225 eye cream on my eyes! Right?? WRONG! This was recommended to me by a sales associate because my under eye skin was seriously peeling from dryness. I was using Kiehls Avocado eye cream for a while and I think I was putting it wrong because I started peeling so when I walked to a Chanel counter to purchase a foundation, the sales associate was horrified by my under eye situation and recommended this to me so yes, I told her to ring it up without fully knowing how much it cost. I almost cried when I handed her my credit card. I came home and vowed to return it but you know I get curious so I tried it once and I liked it.. A LOT! The consistency just worked with my skin and it drank this stuff up. I got five hours of sleep that night but you wouldnt have known that when I woke up. I also work night shift so you can imagine how deathly I look. The guilt got to me though because I could not justify the price tag so even though I used it once, I returned it because its too pricey. I then tried Bobbie Brown extra repair eye cream and that was a nightmare. My eye started peeling and getting red again. So I kicked myself in the tush and exchanged that for sublimage and safe to say I wont be messing around with other eye creams because everything else I put on under my eye seems to irritate it except for this one. Trust me Im asking my eyes why of all the eye creams in the world, she must choose one of the most expensive one! But, this is not a hype. I know there are some blogs that cant figure out whats so special about this eye cream. All I know is that it works for me, trust me...I've tried to deny the signs and talk myself into saying it doesnt work due to the price but the results say otherwise. My under eye skin looks so much more healthier now and Im afraid Im a fan for life. Im in my late 20's and some say I dont need this at my age but I beg to differ because I have seen the results and my lines are less pronounced, my dark under eye circles vanish and my eyes look like they once were when I was in my early teens. Its an investment for me but I only have few quirks and this is definitely one of my guilty pleasures! I
