What it is: A waterproof eye pencil that traces intense eyes with a long-lasting formula resistant to water, humidity and sebum.
What it does: This pencil features a retractable tip and integrated pencil sharpener to facilitate application. Its formula contains a blend of film-forming agents and waxes for gentle, comfortable wear. Silicone resin provides a waterproof texture that resists humidity and doesn't run.
How to use: For natural eyes, trace a thin line along the contour of your upper eyelashes, moving from the inner corner of the eye outward. For sophisticated eyes, intensify the line along the upper lashes by thickening it from the middle to the outer corner of the eye.

I WOULD RATHER SPEND $30 ON ONE AWESOME SMUDGE-PROOF EYE PENCIL FROM CHANEL THAN 10 CHEAPER ONES FROM A DRUG STORE. MY 23 YR OLD DOESN'T WEAR EYE MAKE UP BUT SWEETLY ASKED IF SHE COULD KEEP MY SANTAL PENCIL. IT LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL WITH HER BIG BLUE EYES, I COULDN'T SAY NO. JUMPED ONLINE TO BUY ANOTHER & ALSO GOT 3 FREE COSMETIC SAMPLES TOO! CHANEL NEVER DISAPPOINTS. THERE'S A REASON WE MIDDLE AGED WOMEN STILL LOOK 30! QUALITY SKIN CARE & COSMETICS.

Buyer. beware
This waterproof eye liner DOES run out the corner of my eyes. And DOES transfer (on it's own) from the top eye lid, to the bottom. This is not what I expect from a waterproof eye liner.

Not long-lasting on me
After reading many product reviews for long lasting eye-liner, I looked forward to using this product. I used my usual eyelid primer and applied a second coat of eyeliner a few minutes after the first coat 'set'. It went on smoothly and left a great line. Unfortunately, within a half-hour the eyeliner was barely visible anywhere. I am in my 60's and am starting to experience the dreaded 'hooded' lid. This eyeliner did not pass the test. I had much better luck with the MAC long-lasting line.

Arrived damaged!!!! I did not notice right away so I threw away to package only to notice when I wanted to wear it that the pencil was broken. I had to pay to order another one so I can eventually return the damaged one.

Best eyeliner!
I have been using both the Espresso and Noir Intense shades for years. Will not buy any other eyeliner. I require waterproof and this eyeliner works the best without irritating my green/yellow rimmed pupil eyes. The Espresso shade stays on the best - no smudge - whereas the Noir Intense is a bit softer and smudges a bit by the end of 10-12 hours of wear. Several co-workers wear now as well per my recommendation. Highly recommend!

The only eyeliner I have used for 10 yrs!
I have extremely oily eyelids, so it was hard for me to find a eyeliner that could stay put all day. Even with a eyelid primer I was still getting smudged and faded eyeliner up to my eyebrows. I am not a makeup person, so I hate eyeliners I have to reapply constantly. If you have this issue, than this is the eyeliner for you. I have used this since I was 19, so a little over ten years. I will never switch. It is pricey, but because it lasts all day, I feel like you get more for your money because You're not having to constantly reapply it through out the day. After a long work day, I don't have to worry about a smudged mess all around my eyes. You will need an eye makeup remover to get it off. I have this in a couple shades, but Espresso (brown/black) is my all time favorite, and my everyday liner.
