Great for mature skin.
Love this product. I'm in my 50's and it is so hard to find makeup that won't settle in the pores and lines on my face. This is the first one I have found that works for my skin. I have tired La Mer, Giorgio Armani, it cosmetics, bare minerals, Lancôme, cover girl, maybelline, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Jane iredale. Some of them were CC creams. I spent so much time researching on the internet and finally found this from a makeup review on YouTube. This product is not thick and easy to apply to your face and does not dry out my skin like so many of the other products I have tried. Love this and will be buying it from now on.

Not Great
I am a devout Chanel user so thought i'd try this new product as most of their makeup is outstanding. This is a miss. I sent it back.
The product is thin and lacks fluidity, even for an oil free.
They decreased the size of the product and it is priced at $48.00.
All this means is that if you actually like it, and I can't imagine that, you'll have to suffer the inconvenience of ordering/buying it more often.
Can't hold a candle to the rest of their facial makeup line.

No shine!
This foundation goes on smooth with my fingers. It's a liquid but becomes a powdery, silky foundation and is so light, I can't feel it on. I can wear it all day and do not get that shiny nose and chin that I hate! This is the first foundation that I have worn that does not make my combination skin, shiny in the T-zone. I love it.

Fabulous for older, yet still oily, skin
I love this foundation! It is so light but has great coverage. It covers flaws well but looks very natural. My T-zone stays non-shiny all day. Never looks chalky or "overdone." I would recommend this to anyone with normal to oily skin. I don't know how it would do on dry skin.

Not for 50 something skin
I have been looking for the perfect Chanel foundation but this isn't it. I am 55 years old and have combination skin. After washing my face my skin feels dry but throughout the day it gets oily. This was the third Chanel foundation I tried and would give up on the brand but they have the perfect color for my fair skin with pink undertones. Other brands that I have tried may wear better but they don't look as good because they usually have yellow undertones. I tried this one after watching a YouTube video "Hot & **) she is my age sounded like her skin was the same and she rated it as her #1 in the video I watched. I love the way this foundation goes on and smells. It covered well and looked great when first applied but it does make dry areas stand out and I looked like a hot mess within a few hours. While at a Nordstoms the Chanel woman told my friend and I that this foundation is only good for people with perfect skin and I would show every little line. She recommended the Les Beiges. I tried it and it was okay but within a few hours my skin looked to oily and every pore showed. My search is still on. Any suggestions?

very matt
i purchased this because i heard it was good for mature skin. i've tried it several times with different moisturizer, primers, face base without much luck. it is very drying. it looks ok when applied but after a couple of hours my face looks all dried out. you can see the dry patches of skin clearly. there's not much product so i'll just use it up! so far my favorite foundation for dry skin is makeupforever HD plus in stick formula applied with a damp beauty blender over some nivea mens after shave balm and a spritz of smash box primer water.
