the perfect eye shadow
I love how flattering especially for older skin these eye shadows are. This formula is best applied tapping small amount gently with a brush and then slightly dabbing with a finger to shape or erase excess. Work fast and one eye at a time since it dries fast. I love it in a very light layer during day and a little more for evening time. It lasts well, doesn't crease and fades away in a beautiful way after long hours wear even after rubbing my eyes occasionally. I wear contacts and the product doesn't fog them or irritate eyes. I don't like powder eye shadows since they seem to make me look older, so this formula is my favorite. Also all the colors are subdued and beautiful, so no matter what color you chose, for sure it will be perfect. "Rayon" is creating golden dew finish, "Desert wind" is a beautiful bronzy color, "Quartz Rose" is a silky soft champagne rose color. I still need to buy "Vastness" and "Rising sun". For the first time I cannot determine which is my favorite. I really love them all...

I love cream and liquid eyeshadow so I was very excited when Chanel released this product. I purchased Rising Sun which is a gorgeous peachy copper shade. I was so disappointed to discover the formula is a hot mess. No matter what I did I couldn't get the product to blend properly. Using a brush left streaks so I tried blending with my finger instead but most of the product transferred back onto my finger. Either way I was left with a patchy mess and adding more product in an effort to even things out only made matters worse. Save your money there are better liquid eyeshadows out there for a fraction of the cost!

These eyeshadows are awesome! I initially bought Rose Quartz and it was so beautiful I had to buy the Rayon and Rising Sun. They are soft, shimmery and last forever! You only need a bit for a lasting impact. You can dot on the lid and use your finger to smooth or I use the blender/concealer brush to pat. So easy you cannot make a mistake. I own many Chanel eyeshadows but wear these every day as a base. They can be layered or worn alone. I believe one shade has more of a high satin finish, possibly the Desert Wind, which I had to refrain from purchasing. I hope they keep these in the permanent line!

Easy Application with a Luxurious Look
I purchased Desert Wind. It looks fabulous on an East Asian complexion. It is very easy to apply. I use the applicator to dab some in my eyelid and use my ring finger to spread it out over the eyelid. It is a lightweight formula and has the right amount of shimmer without looking tacky. This has to be my favorite liquid eyeshadow EVER!
