Heavenly Chanel No.5 Body Cream!
Chanel No.5 is my signature scent, which I selected at Nordstrom as a teenager. A Nordstrom fragrance clerk told me years ago that they use an entire ounce of full-strength parfum to scent the body cream. I put a tiny bit on each pulse point and decolletage. No. 5 is just heavenly--such a deep, rich scent with light topnotes. And by the way, men go absolutely CRAZY for it! ;) Coco Chanel sure knew what she was doing. The striking jar looks stunning on my vanity, with the frosted glass bottom and black-and-gold top. I NEVER get tired of this timeless, sensual scent!

big change - not for the best
I was the biggest fan of Chanel Nº 5 Velvet Body Cream. I use it in place of fragrance. Got two jars recently and I'm SUPER DISAPPOINTED: it doesn't smell the same as before! Gone is the pleasant light, fresh aroma, and now it smells sweet and heavy with an unpleasant after note. I was told that more 'rose' had been added to the fragrance mix. Whatever it is, IT DOESN'T WORK FOR ME. I hate the NEW very ordinary smell! It doesn't reflect the product high cost at all. I'll see if I can return it!
Besides, I asked at the counter if I could buy the product in the plastic tube that I used to get as part of a set in the past, but I was told that now the velvet body cream comes only in this unhygienic and absolutely travel and storage unfriendly jar. Its size is 3 3/4" x 3 3/4", which means that it doesn't fit on a standard medicine cabinet shelf. If you want to take the product with you on a trip, be ready to repack it.

AH, Chanel No 5
I love my Chanel No 5 in any product that I've ever used. The Velvet Body Cream did not disappoint. It goes from my feet to my hands after showering & my skin feels soft, smooth & more hydrated than before. Also, a small amount goes a long way while the light fragrance lingers for hrs! This will be a regular.

Double Delight
For the #5 addict desiring the smoothest skin and my signature fragrance, this is THE product. Compared to the Body Lotion, the fragrance is "truer" to the perfume, and lingers wonderfully all day! Just opening the jar is a sensual experience! It's so rich an emollient, it takes little, so lasts longer than the Body Lotion between purchases. Using this just after my shower and judicious use of my perfume gives me a subtle layering that's never overpowering.. It's such a treat to be told I smell sooo good, and be asked what I'm wearing!

Chanel no 5 Velvet Body Cream
I absolutely love this cream. In my opinion this is the best way to wear the scent, smells
the best of all no. 5 products. Of course I admit I love No. 5 in all it's products but once you
try this cream you will never want to be without it. Simply luxurious and beautiful scent.
Yes, i do tend to layer this fragrance with other no. 5 items but if only buying one item of the fragrance i would actually choose this one. Amazingly wonderful, talk about aromatherapy,
never fails to put me in a good mood, thinking beautiful thoughts.........
