Nice Update To The Previous Model
This is a re-make of the Definer/Smudger brush Chanel put out several years ago. Same size, same design, same great quality. The differences: whereas the Definer/Smudger had natural brush bristles, this one has synthetic bristles. It's predecessor had soft semi-fluffy brush heads, this one has soft silky semi-firm brush heads.

No idea how this works
Ordered this brush over 5 days ago and still haven't received it. It's still In "preparing to ship" mode. Nodstrom has the worst shipping out of any company I have ever dealt with. This will be my last purchase with them.

Had this for 2 years
I have had this brush for about two years now and so I think I can give a pretty fair review of it. I do love it because it smudges my liner and gives the soft but defined effect I go for. However, the caps do not stay on and get worse everyday which is incredibly annoying.

Two great brushes in one for flawless application!
I received this brush today. This brush is a remake of the previous model and is a new release for 2021. The bristles are synthetic and soft, yet are packed firm to provide definition. This dual-ended brush comes encased in metal with metal caps that close firmly. I find this brush picks up cream and powder eyeshadows beautifully and helps to effortlessly blur and smudge the color. No frustration application, in a gorgeous glossy black metal that you will love to display and travel with. I purchased this after purchasing the amazing 205 eyeliner brush. simply exceptional.

The Other One I Need!
I am in the process of getting my possessions down to two suitcases, so I wanted make up brushes that would travel well, get the job done, and be of high enough quality to last. This (and the other retractable brush) fit the bill perfectly! I’ve had (and sold) some super high end brushes but these by Chanel are more than equal to the task. I truly enjoy using these high quality Chanel brushes, love the caps & retractability, and in my opinion, they lay down shadow colors seamlessly. Love this purchase & highly recommend!

These are so wonderful!
These are so nice for keeping in my bag. Since I'm a little older, my main focus is on my eyes, and it's nice to be able to carry these and touch up my eyes throughout the day. The way it closes so the brush is protected is really nice too! My only complaint is that I bought both of these and I can't tell which of the 4 brushes I'm about to pop up. A toothpick and a couple of dots of color helped me do that, but it would be nice if they were somehow subtly marked, maybe just a couple raised dots around the rim so you don't have to go hunting for your brush. Either way, love both of these brushes I got, and all 4 sizes are useful!

great brush
I use the smallest side slightly wet to apply a thin amount of smudgy eye shadow under my eyes. Perfect size and works really well.
