A little something new from Chanel

I don't know what it is about this fragrance, but I ordered it on a whim - I mean, who doesn't love Venice? Or Venise? Or Venezia? Definitely needed something to perk me up in light of some personal life events including the loss of a long-loved doggie. Plan to use this extensively on a trip to Italy in February as I always can tie a certain fragrance to the trip of a certain year. Annick Goutal eau d'Hadrien? 2004. Regardless, this fragance is lovely and not overpowering. No one has sneezed in my perimeter - always a good sign (I'm looking at you Don Son).

Smells only lasted a second.

Second time that I bought this perfume and I was hopping that the second was going to have a better luck. I gave it another try and what a waste. There will not be a third time.

My favorite of the three

I like Paris-Venise as much as I do the Deauville in the same range. Goes on very bright and citrusy. Slowly develops into those green grassy notes and the interplay of the citrus and the grass was a pleasant surprise. Powdery notes are really really subtle and the best part was the dry down - lush amber and vanilla notes with still a hint of the citrus. Longevity was best out of the three with Paris-Venise.

Beautiful scent but fades quick

This is such a beautiful scent!!! However, the lasting power is terrible. I am extremely disappointed with this. Wish the scent would last all day like my Eau Tendre. Does not live up to the Chanel brand I’ve come to love. Sadly, I will be returning as I don’t see it’s worth the $.

Good for summer

This one, on me, is light and fresh and has a good summer feel to it. The staying power is actually decent on me vs. some of the reviews who had issues otherwise. I'm glad I bought this.
