I have several Chanel perfumes: Chanel pure parfum, coco noir pure parfum, and N5 Eau Premiere. I tried on Riviera in the store and loved it. It is very fresh and beautiful. Some Chanel parfums are a bit too strong for me. This one is very good. Although it does not last as long as my other ones (Riviera is an EDT) I felt the purchase was justified since you get a whopping 4.2 oz bottle. I don’t mind having to respray if I need too. Besides, I wear perfumes so I can enjoy it rather than have other people smell me from across the room. I am happy to add this to my Chanel collection.

Smells Better Abroad
I originally smelled this fragrance in Tokyo, Japan and fell in love. I didn’t purchase because I didn’t want to risk it breaking in my luggage. I wish I would have, the US formula is not the same.

Now this one is very nice! Its starts with a bang and mellows out to a nice woodsy floral that anyone can wear. I really like this one, somewhat more than Paris.

Lovely, sophisticated, romantic scent
I received a sample of this with a Nordstrom order a few months ago. It's a lovely, sophisticated, romantic scent that's not overpowering. Lasts just fine on me, as I don't like to carry a cloud of scent with me everywhere I go. This is perfect just for me and my husband to smell on me. Only thing is I wish there were a smaller size to purchase!

Oh my so elegant addictive very feminine
I didn't expect much because some of the review are negative but always been a fan of Chanel. seems like have a good chemistry with their perfume. oh my God love how light fresh addictive this smell is the mandarine and neroli perfect not annoying I keep smelling my self all day if you like light fresh and smelling good purchase it. I understand that some people think this doesn't last but it does I work 10 hours and still smell it on my clothes specially when the air pass me I get the whip of this smell can’t help my self not to smile I’m the kind of people that love perfume that strong silage but this is just perfect to smell good and elegant love love love. Try it
