LES EAUX DE CHANEL PARIS-DEAUVILLE Eau de Toilette

I really enjoy the rose, jasmine and pettigrain notes on Paris-Deauville. Very pleasant, hard to hate this one. The patchouli dry down isn't overwhelming and over all a nice light Eaux from Polge. This one is silkier and smoother that the other two in this series. As this is an Eaux it is meant to be nice and light and longevity is perhaps 2-3 hours. It is not meant to last all day and more of a refresher. I found combining it with the body lotion of the same helps to extend the scent. Great light office scent.

I tried this in the store. At first, it smelled very floral and I dismissed it right away. While very fresh, I couldn't smell the basil at all. It COMPLETELY changed on the dry down. I still didn't smell the basil (in fact, I never did catch the basil) but instead turned warm and somewhat musky. I kept smelling my arm wondering if I had mixed up what I'd sprayed on each arm. I REALLY liked it. It smelled totally different on me than the scent story but I enjoyed that one little spray well into the evening which is impressive for an eau de toilette. The bottle is very large making the price point appropriate. Instead of a spritz nozzle, it's more of a continuous spray which I like. I plan to go back and purchase!
