LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW Lip Balm

I cannot express how much I adore this lip balm. I am usually a very full coverage, bold lip, winged liner type of person. This lip balm has changed that for me. I received the shade, “Medium” as a gift at Christmas, and I have used one of the shades every day since. (I bought the other three shades within a week.) The packaging is sleek and minimal, but still very chic, and is the perfect size for a clutch, your pocket, or even just to hold. The Chanel logo embossed into the inside of the tube shows the attention to detail that Chanel has given to this product, which I deeply appreciate. I have found that all of the colors are extremely flattering on me, which is very surprising. The formula is build able, and I have found that you can tap it onto the center of the lips to give a very light, flushed color. However, applying this balm heavily around the entirety of the lip has also given very good results. (Also the staying power of this is very impressive.)

I don’t usually wear lipstick but I enjoy this since it’s sheer and moisturizing but has a little bit of color. I bought medium and a tad bright when first applied - I want to try the other colors because I really like how the balm feels - it’s not heavy or sticky at all - it’s got a luxurious and light texture.

I put this in my cart and forgot to remove it before checking out with other items. well, best mistake I’ve made all month. I tried it on and LOVE it. bought medium. My lips have color but I like sheer balm type lipstick during the day. I am seriously loving this. I have literally dozens of lipsticks I don’t like, priced high to low. And pass them on to relatives. Well honey, nobody is getting this. Truly the best lip balm I’ve bought in eons. It’s not a full coverage lipstick. It is a sheer, color lip moisturizer with the perfect sheen.

I picked up the shade 'intense' that was part of the 2019 les beiges. I wasn't interested in the original 3 colors (although they are pretty), mainly because they lend towards pink/peach/berry tones, and I personally already owned similar shades/formulas by other companies. However, the shade 'intense' was the one they were missing (and a lot of competitors do not seem to have either). Which is why I had to pick this up. It is a universal red, but it's not so opaque that you're on the red carpet, but not so sheer that you'd think you bought a lip balm. It is the perfect amount - just enough to give that no-makeup - makeup look, with a little extra color. Really happy with this purchase!

I purchased all three les Beiges Healthy Glow lip balm colors and all three are versatile and their colors subtle enough to work for a wide range of skin tones! The dark is not too dark but gives your lips a beautiful berry stain. The medium is a perfect rose color that brightens up your face.....especially if you just wear mascara. The light will work any way you choose it is so lovely. Remember they are balms so reapplying is necessary but they are hydrating and will help your lips stay moist in summer sun! I love them they are so easy breezy!
