I was so disappointed in Channels Le Revolution mascara. The wand’s brush does nothing to lengthy my lashes. It’s clumpy and makes my eyelashes appear very short—almost as if they were broken off. Such a waste of money! Do not buy.

Nearly perfect
I’m a very faithful fan of the original Le Volume de Chanel so I couldn’t resist the chance to try this new “extreme” formula when my last tube of le volume ran out. I love a very dark, dramatic lash. This formula is thicker & coats the lash very well. My only complaint is the wand - it isn’t as good as the original le volume wand in my opinion. This new 3D wand picks up a lot of product so you don’t need to go back into the tube as often to pick up more, but it doesn’t apply the product as well. I love how the original wand glided through my naturally long lashes & coated very well while leaving them looking full & “fluffy”...not pointy & thick/clumpy. If I weren’t already familiar with the original wand I would not be as critical of this new one, BUT knowing how well the original worked, I have been using an old Le Volume wand to apply this new formula & it works great!!!! However the old wand will not deal with the new tube due to being threaded differently. In conclusion: great formula, but the wand sucks. Incorporate the original Le Volume style wand to make it perfect! It still glides on perfectly & is very dark, does not flake & washes of easily & completely with mild soap & water. Due to the sub par wand though, I will be returning to my old faithful Le Volume & apply additional coats to achieve the same dark lash with a better/more fluffy finish.

Holy Grail Mascara
I’m insanely picky with mascara because I have good lashes to start with, but a LOT of mascara makes them look worse than they would look without anything. This is like false lashes in a tube for anyone with medium-long natural lashes. It volumizes, separates, lengthens, layers well, and holds a curl.

Definite no for me...
I love the Le Volume and I was quite excited to try this after the sales rep said it was amazing. The brush is terrible and frustrating. When I went to put the wand back into the bottle the leftover mascara clumped all over the top. It also made my lashes stick together and feel crispy. Not a fan at all.

I love the new mascara. I do think it has a little more oomph than the Le Volume, another wonderful Chanel mascara. I was sorry to hear that some people were disappointed in the new mascara. I have not had an issue with it running or clumping. I do see a significant difference in my lashes when I use the Revolution. Love the colors -- they are great alone, or they are fun to put at the tip of the lashes after you have applied the black.
