INIMITABLE MASCARA Volume - Length - Curl - Separation

I LOVE the Chanel Volume mascara and on a whim decided to give this a try. I hate it. It doesn't seem to add any volume or length to my lashes and forget about a curl. Even using my curler, my lashes look short, stubby and stick straight out. I won't be buying this one again and know to stick to what I know.

I had high hopes for this mascara and I was let down so badly.... For the brand name and the cost, I'd expect perfection from a mascara, but this was so terrible. There was so much mascara fallout, black particles would end up on my entire face after applying on my eyes. Honestly, this was just awful, not worth the money.. buy drugstore mascara if you want the same effect as this.

I am SHOCKED by the positive reviews of this mascara. I am a mascara aficionado but had never tried Chanel's. Given that I like most of their other cosmetics and the reviews of this product I assumed it would be great. But oh no, it isn't. While the product looks great on, when I wash it off (I have given it four tries now) I LOSE LASHES (at least 2-3) on each eye. This happens whether I use a gentle eye makeup remover or just my face wash and a towel. I have NEVER experienced this with any other mascara and can't believe that no one else has had that problem. I'm going to throw it away and keep my lashes, thanks.

I have long straight lashes that are hard to curl and clump together. I usually use a drugstore mascara because it’s as good as any other brand I’ve found. This mascara was a little better at keeping my lashes from clumping. It made them look more defined, which is a strange word, but I’m over sixty, and I think they can get lost since they don’t curl up that well. (Yes, I’ve tried every curler and technique known.) So I would recommend trying this mascara. It went on easily and gave me a nice look.

My favorite mascara by IT cosmetics was discontinued so I’ve been searching for something similar- mostly looking for wand type that’s small and has the rounded tip which is perfect for getting corners. This wand looked similar, as did formula. Worst mascara I’ve ever purchased, especially when you factor in price. The first swipe onto bottom of lashes it deposited just a thick clump of mascara. I wiped the wand as clean as possible of all mascara so I could spread the mascara up to the top of my lashes. Didn’t work. Still just a huge deposit at lash base. Grabbed the old IT wand and tried to use that wand with the Chanel mascara on my other eye and it was a less severe deposit of mascara but still looked terrible. My lashes are medium to long length and relatively thick (somehow with age my lashes have gone haywire and grow in different directions) so I’m used to having to work them into pretty, evenly covered lashes but that was impossible with this mascara, and certainly not possible with the wand. The mascara just made my lashes look short and stubby and stick straight. I’m 41 and I’ve been wearing mascara for at least 28 years, and I’ve never used a more terrible mascara I’m my life. What the heck Chanel?!
