What it is: An eau de parfum inspired by Gabrielle Chanel.
Fragrance story: Before creating the House of CHANEL, Coco was Gabrielle. A rebel at heart, passionate and free. The inspiration behind this luminous floral fragrance is Gabrielle Chanel. Olivier Polge crafted this eau de parfum as an imaginary flower, a radiant and sparkling, purely feminine CHANEL blossom based on a bouquet of four white flowers. A rich, enveloping heart of exotic jasmine shimmers with the fruity green notes of ylang-ylang, while fresh and sparkling orange blossom shines through, offering a glimpse of Grasse tuberose captured at its finest.
How to use: Apply GABRIELLE CHANEL on skin or clothing with a deliberate and generous spray. The fragrance appears to be suspended weightlessly within the striking, square bottle crafted of ultra-thin glass, as the four transparent sides fade into the background to let the light shine through.

Gorgeous!
This starts out as sexy flirty then dries down to a warm embrace. Mademoiselle has been by favorite for years but this is a close second! I'm not a huge fan of outrageous florals. No sharp edges or cloying sweetness. Gabrielle is a beautiful memory of a flower filled meadow with warm ocean breeze. I'm a woman of a certain age and would experience this everyday. Love it!!

Disappointing
Boring, non descript and not worth the hugh price. Wanted to love it because Chanel has always been a favorite. Aimed at the younger maket...this fragrance lacks depth and complexity and reminds me of all the other boring scents out there. Nothing memorable. Mature women...I am proud to be one...usually like a fragrance that is more refined which can become a signature. I found mine when I was 15 and still love it today. Give me Coco or Coco Mademoiselle. I see this launch going the way of No. 5 L'Eau and the reformulation of No. 19. One sell through and few re-purchases. Too bad...I really had hopes for another Chanel masterpiece.

Light floral; Fresh; Ultra Feminine; Green Notes
I just sampled this at Nordstrom in store and it was totally unlike what I expected, based on the description of "white flowers." I had feared it would be too 'warm' for me. Instead, it is very light floral and the green notes came through on me with the top note, which I love!! The dry down thus far remains light and true to form without any musky smell. This is a lighter and slightly less complex scent than Coco Mademoiselle, which makes it a perfect fragrance for the office. This is an all season fragrance, but would be perfect for warmer months due to it's light floral sillage. I will probably be purchasing or requesting it for my birthday next month.

I adore this new fragrance from Chanel. It is subtle and perfect for every day wear. It has a lovely floral fragrance with many layers that are difficult to define. Words I would use to describe Gabrielle are fresh, contemporary, airy, flirty, light. This is not a "sexy" fragrance. It is perfect for work and play. The ideal everyday fragrance for the sophisticated woman who makes an impression. If you enjoy a heavy fragrance that calls attention to you when you enter a room, Gabrielle is not for you. If you prefer a fragrance that is soft and lovely and occasionally appears in conversation, this is the perfect choice for you. It is my new signature scent.

It's not as unique as if hoped
This fragrance smells good but in my personal opinion and taste it was just not unique. It reminds me so much of CARVEN which I love. But Gabrielle doesn't even last on me. CHANEL has very rich fragrances but this one didn't work for me. I'm disappointed at the lack of staying power not so much the scent but I'm sending it back :(

Gabrielle is a classy new scent from Chanel with hints of orange, jasmine & tuberose. I am a Coco Mademoiselle girl but Gabrielle is My New Favorite!
