Gives a flawless finish
This is my first foundation brush -- I've always used my fingers, but after using this brush, I will NEVER go back. It provides an amazing airbrush finish. I was in search of a new foundation and stopped by the Chanel counter at my local Nordies to try Perfection Lumiere. The SA used this brush to apply it (along with a little concealer) and viola, my face was indeed flawless. I was beyond impressed and bought the concealer and foundation on the spot. After applying both with at home myself several times, I noticed I did not get the same airbrushed effect as I had in the store. I was still happier with the Perfection Lumiere than my previous foundation, but it was missing the "wow" I had experienced at the store. So I went back and purchased the brush, and what a difference it makes. I'm still a little amazed. Truly a flawless finish. Worth every penny! BTW, this brush pulls double duty -- it smooths concealer under my eyes just as beautifully as it works with foundation.

surprising
First of all, the brush itself is excellent. I have been debating getting this for myself for a while & couldn't spend the money. I received it as a Christmas gift from my mom, and within two weeks, I had to superglue the thing together! the metal part separated from the black handle. Really disappointed in it, but the brush part itself is great. I wanted to love this thing so bad!

Worth every penny...
I was on the hunt for a foundation brush to apply my liquid Dior Skin Nude Foundation, and I came across this brush. It's quite dense so care should be taken on the amount of foundation you apply as it can apply your foundation quite heavily. It can be used to apply light to moderate coverage or a full blown converge as well if that's the look you're going for. The short handle is great as it allows for more control. The bristles are very soft and glides oh so smoothly over the face. It's a joy using it.

For effective application
This foundation brush effectively and evenly applies liquid foundation, particularly over those areas with large pores. Previously, I struggled to create a natural and even-toned look and tried several other recommended brushes and techniques (using tutorials, Nordstrom chats, etc.) and finally realized it was the brush. For instance, the Chanel #7 foundation brush seemed to "dot" my pores, making them look larger and more noticeable.
Additionally, the brush texture doesn't make my skin reactive (redden upon touch) and has beld up to regular cleaning.

Flawless Finish
I had not used a brush before to apply foundation until I took a chance and purchased this brush with Chanel's Perfection Lumiere foundation. Now I don't know how I ever applied makeup without it. Actually I applied my foundation with a sponge before and I'm sure most of my makeip was absorbed into the sponge and therefore didn't last very long. With this brush, not only does my foundation glide on smoothly and evenly, but I'm not wasting any product either. All my makeup is going on my face. The finish appears to be flawless and I will one by one replace my old makeup brushes with Chanel brushes. They seem to be of high quality and I'm sure with proper care they'll last for years. This brush is a nice little touch of luxury every morning that feels good, performs well, and is worth the money.

Amazing!
This brush is pefect for liquid foundation! I apply it with the chanel aqualumier foundation! The brush does not shed AT ALL and gives my face a flawless finish. I definitely recommend this to anyone.
