What it is: A lightweight, nourishing serum presented in limited-edition packaging that helps keep skin looking younger, firmer and healthier.

What it does: Inspired by the regions where people live longer—the blue zones—CHANEL research sourced three longevity ingredients from the diet of blue zone populations for the first time in a breakthrough skin care. Green coffee from Costa Rica contains heightened antioxidant properties to help shield the complexion and, following a specific polyfractioning extraction process, the resulting green coffee PFA contains 70 times more antioxidant active molecules than are found in regular coffee beans. Bosana olives from Sardinia contain essential fatty acids and higher-level skin-fortifying polyphenols to help protect skin, and a patented Oleo-Eco-Extraction process delivers their most powerful properties. Lentisk from Greece contains naturally occurring oleanolic acid that helps reinforce skin's natural restorative abilities and, purified through CO2 Supercritical Extraction, these molecules ensure optimal protection for skin.

Research results:

In a clinical evaluation of 44 women after four weeks of use:

- Participants said skin appeared smoother with a 35% reduction in the appearance of wrinkles.

- Participants said skin was 26% firmer.

- Participants said skin was 37% more even.

So far so good
I first gave this a test drive during a facial and had to purchase it. My skin absolutely just drinks this serum up. After a few days of use (applied after the blue toner), my skin looks so refreshed. I look forward to seeing more positive results!

Get a sample before buying
Maybe I am the wrong age for this (40) but I did not like this at all. It made my skin tingle - not in a good way and caused it to look reddish. I felt no difference in skin firmness and to top it off it clogged my pores pretty badly causing breakouts. I do not have sensitive skin really and can use most products but this one apparently irritated my skin completely. I have other products I use for lines or firming and for far less. Sadly not a fan at all.

The Result is More Toned Skin and Free of Pigments
More youthful appearance, toned skin and the pigmentation has got faded. Its amazing, and the result can be seen with Two Weeks Exactly. Of course I am going to buy one more, since my previous one will run out soon.

Chanel Blue Serum: Translucent Gel
I imagined this to be a marine blue liquid gel serum and was surprised to find a translucent gel with a strong perfume fragrance. It felt smooth on my skin and absorbed immediately upon application, but my skin got dry and needed moisturizer, stat. Alcohol is the second ingredient listed after water, which explains the drying quality. The back story is interesting marketing but doesn’t compensate for a drying, heavily scented, high priced product.

Not for extremely sensitive skin.
This is a great product, although not for everyone. When I first used it- I didn't think it was that great. I use expensive products and was comparing it to others, for example Le Lift by Chanel. Le Lift serum has an immediate result, skin is tightened and clear. I wasn't a believer in this product till I used it at night ; at woke up with beautiful , smooth skin. This is a wonderful product for pre aging skin. To protect it and prevent aging , I also think there is anti aging benefits in it, it's just not as distinct as some other top of the line products - that cost more too. Yes, my skin tingled and I saw a slight redness. I do have sensitive skin, but that didn't last. I think the trick with this one is with time. Your skin adjusts and you see the difference. Plastic surgeons say that the products that work over time, are actually the only ones that really work or do something on your skin. The ones that show an immediate change- only temporary and don't do anything permanent for the skin. So in some ways , this might be a better choice. Although you can't really go wrong with Chanel. Everything they make is quality and will work to some degree. I would suggest this for 20+ , probably women from 20-40, that want anti aging benefits and protection. This serum will keep your skin looking great. I don't recommend for extremely sensitive skin. Although it is very moisturizing - for dry skin. I think Chanel probably intended this as a protective barrier , to use in conjunction with other treatments. But alone at night - really worked wonders.

strong scent
I got theirs as a sample and the scent was so strong and it was a bit tacky to the touch. To be honest I struggled to not rinse it off immediately... if the smell does not bother you then it may be a hit but a no go for me.
