Read instructions
I was debating on getting these as I saw some reviews that said they were too big. I decided to get them anyway and I love these for my son.
When I first opened up the box the shoe did look too wide and the straps looked like they were going to be too big/loose.
Thank God I read the instructions and it tells you how to adjust the straps and they fit perfectly .
I bought two more pairs

Holy Wide Fit
Horrible! Why do they make kids shows this wide! My daughter doesn’t have a wide foot but these could fit two of her feet on top of each other in the shoe! If your kid has a medium size foot these will be way too wide! So disappointed! Returning!
