Last forever
The last pair I bought I wore for the past 15+ years. It was finally time to replace them.

painful
the right inside angle strap rubs in a painful way - rubbing my skin raw. My older pair of Z/2's do not do that

Heavy but comfortable
These are extremely heavy so I was a disappointed when I took them out of the box. They're also a bit difficult to perfectly place the strap. Once you do, however, they are amazingly comfortable, give great arch support and feel like you can wear them for hours on all terrain. Also like the way they look. The strap, after you've pulled it to make them snug, is also way too long.

My new Chacos
I have been wearing Chacos since the 90's. I would prefer not to wear any thing else on my feet. I have noticed a decline in the quality and longevity over the years. I still love them but they are not what they used to be.

Not as good as the previous pair.
The previous pair of Chaco Z Cloud sandals that I owned had thicker and softer straps. It appears that the company is trying to shave some cost at the expense of quality. The harder, thinner straps dig into my skin more than the previous model. Alison, I don’t understand why the end of strap goes down to the pavement when you pull the strap through the buckle. I had to have the straps shortened on my previous pair of sandals.

Low volume feet
Great sandals. Wish there would be a choice of strap length to accommodate “low volume” feet. The sandals fit nicely, but approximately 1.5 inches of the strap drags on the ground.

Solid Sandal
I use these for canoeing. Great fit. Stable. The big toe pocket is a little tough to setup, but otherwise pretty solid sandal.
