Despite my mistake they are still a 5!
Needed some neutral-colored closed-toe heels for a wedding. I knew my feet couldn’t handle anything over 3 inches, so I searched for a 2-3 inch heel. Most of the lower heels looked frumpy to me but this shoe caught my eye. I was immediately drawn to the champagne color because of its extra sparkle and decided to order a pair. I read reviews but decided to order my never-wavering 8.5. I realized I was wrong for doing so as my feet slipped out of them constantly, but I was stuck having to make them work as there was not enough time to replace them before I’d need them. Suffice it to say that I made a mistake not heeding reviewer recommendations. Inserts didn’t really do the trick. On the positive side, the shoes are very well padded and easy on the aging toes. They look beautiful and I received many compliments. Seeing them in photos, the style seems to make the heels appear higher. Just do yourself a favor and size down at least a ½ size even if you’ve never done so with any other shoes before.

Nice look for evening but uncomfortable for my feet. Narrow pointy toes. Wish Nordstrom would carry more inventory in store so you would be able to try on and determine purchasing or not. Don’t like buying from website without trying on and having constant returns.

An elevated classic
This is a perfect classic dress shoe. The cross strap gives a basic pump some sexy charm. The heel is low enough to be comfortable, yet high enough to be pretty. I normally wear a size 7-7 1/2 and went down to a size 6, so it definitely runs big.
