Cashmere Mist Body Lotion $283 Value

For years, each year, I have purchased two large bottles at the Anniversary sale as "my gift to myself". The product is no longer the creamy luxurious lotion of the past. The ingredients have changed. It is now thinner, less emollient, and less fragrant. In the past, emu oil was one of the main ingredients - very nourishing and healthful to the skin. Without the nourishment of the emu oil, it is just like any drug store lotion. So disappointing.

This body lotion ( Cashmere Mist) is a staple I use daily. The scent is soft with light floral tones with a subtle mix earthy undertones. Not overpowering. The lotion provides super coverage and moisture to my skin all day when I apply after a shower. The fragrance is unmatched and signature Donna Karan. I order 2 or three of the large bottles every year. This year there were no pumps included nor was there a small bottle of perfume as advertised. Instead a towelette was awkwardly glued to the bottle. Quite a surprise for the usual Nordstrom class and reliability and reason for 4 stars.

I've been buying this bottle every year for the past 6 yrs during the anniversary sale. I noticed the last 2 years, the scent has been more muted. I love the bottles that had a stronger scent so I wouldn't have to wear the perfume. As far as the moisturizing factor.. hands down this lotion will leave your skin so smooth and soft.
