Beautiful sweater
This cashmere sweater is beautiful in construction, fit and color ... but the reason I paid nearly $100 was because I hoped the quality would prevent the dreaded pilling. I was wrong - the pilling started on the very first wear. What is happening with clothing manufacturing these days, and what are you doing, Nordstrom? Nordstrom used to be absolutely symbolic for quality, but not any longer - it's now always a gamble, no matter how much I pay. SO MANY SWEATERS that I've obtained from Nordstrom result in immediate pilling even from the very first wear! It's very disappointing. It was not this way in the 90s and prior - I still own clothing purchased from Nordstrom in the 80s: classic, beautiful, well-made clothing that holds up with proper care. And I take good care of my things. I don't know whether to return this item or just keep it and de-fuzz it with each wear - I really love the fit on my shortish apple frame - it hits just right & feels wonderful wearing it!
