Upper: 3D Fit Print Air Mesh maintains its shape as if flexes and recovers with every stride. Gore-Tex Invisible Fit technology bonds directly to the upper to keep rain, puddles and splashes at bay. Enhanced cushioning in the forefoot and heel provide comfort and protection on changing surfaces.
Midsole Drop: 6mm. Classified as a mid-drop measurement, it pushes your foot forward to support a more natural mid/forefoot strike.
Lower: DNA LOFT v3 nitrogen-infused cushioning grounds every stride on lightweight, responsive comfort. Ballistic Rock Shield keeps rocks, roots and trail debris at bay. Embedded Trail Adapt System ensures changing terrain won't trip you up or slow you down. TrailTack Green lugged tread reliably grounds every stride while leaving smaller eco footprints.

Not just for runners!
I’m a senior who has experienced great success with the fit and comfort of the Addiction Walker.
The Cascadia 19 GTX has now added waterproofing and stability to both trail walking and yard work.
Even though I wear a narrow width in the Walker, the medium width of the Cascadia snugs up well.
Lightweight and comfortable right out of the box.

What, no E Width?
Sorry Brooks, an otherwise potentially great shoe.... that is not available in a Wide (2E). Same issue with other GTX shoes. I thought maybe I could squeeze into a std D width but it was a no-go. Lot of people out there with wide feet. Just say'n.

Run small
I like the shoe construction and style. Sizing was much smaller than the other shoes I wear... even other Brooks I own. I am normally a 9.5 or 10. I ordered 10, and they were much too tight. Never have I been a 10.5. Unfortunately, I bought them through a site that doesn't take returns/exchanges. Recommend that you try them on before buying online.

Just an old man who loves a great shoe.
I’m not a runner, I’m just an old man who has bad feet and needs a shoe with good support. These are the best athletic shoes I’ve ever found, I’m wear them daily. I have a good pair and a work pair and rotate them when my work pair finally wears out. In addition to the support I love the fact they are waterproof!

Too Much Cushion!
The waterproof Cascadia has been my go-to shoe for the better part of a decade, carrying me hundreds of miles per pair with zero blisters and zero complaints, right out of the box. But this year's model is hugely over-cushioned and left me with a blister the size of a silver dollar on the middle of my sole. Why is Brooks falling for the over-cushioning trend? Previous models had the perfect amount of cushion--they offered the best stability and support of any other shoe I've ever tried. I looked at other current Brooks models and found them to have the same marshmallow treads as these. Please, Brooks—could you please make just one pair of trail runners that plants my feet firmly on the ground, the way your shoes used to?

Trail Running Dream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an outstanding trail shoe. I run and rucksack in a stretch of national wildlife area that’s wooded, hilly, and often wet. These shoes provide superb cushioning and stability, and they’re waterproof. The price tag is significant, but it’s very fair for the functionality you get with this shoe. It’s a must-have if you cover any more than a few hundred yards in soggy woods. The wide (2E) version, which I wear, has a large and comfortable toe box. Brooks got this shoe exactly right.

Need more cushion
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It felt ok when I first wore it, then felt the tightness up around the front foot. Not cushioned enough for me. Feel the sole hard. Was not comfortable. I wear size 11 wide, this was the size but felt tight. It is light, gives push and pull when walking. I like how the inside fold is stitched to the side of the shoe so that it does not move. I did not run in it cant tell how workout activities are. I had to return it after one quick wear. Not this one, I have Brooks before loved them but this was different. Thank you
