Carla Flat

My pro is that the leather is butter soft and there is nice support inside the shoe. I love the silver leather as well. I have been looking for the perfect flat for a long time, it has to have arch support, a little lift, doesn't dig into the sides of your foot nor it widens out as you walk. If anything, I feel these fit on the narrow side which is great for my foot. My con is simply the style, It has more coverage on top of the foot so if you have bunions (which I do not) you would be in great shape. I simply do not how long this makes your foot look. I am a 7 1/2 and when I saw them on me, it just looked liked I had on too big of a shoe. So for that reason only, I am returning mine.

I live in San Francisco and walk a lot, especially with a baby in a stroller to get to daycare. These are comfortable, soft leather, great padding and had no break-in period. My big toe bunion feels no pain in these shoes. They look a bit more like a mom shoe (but hey I’m a mom now!) and they are more square than I’d typically like, but I can get past the look for the comfort.

These are very comfortable, but the toe ripped the first time I wore them. Very disappointed, especially for $120

These are more burnt orange than red. They are still nice quality.

I got this in the blue suede, so that may run different to the others who say this runs large, but this ran at least half to almost a full size too small for me. I am consistently a size 9 in flats, and this felt like a size 8. Leather was beautiful, cut was a little modest for my taste (I prefer a lower cut in the front, but knew this when buying the shoe), footbed is padded comfortably, color is lovely. Width was fine, but I have a narrow foot. It just ran much much too small for me.

I tried this flat on in size 12M, frappe (a peachy medium flesh tone) and silver, and in 11M in frappe also. Usually I need a size 11.5M but have to settle for some sort of size 12. My width measures narrow, I have a small bunion on the left, and I need high and firm arch support and a rigid and supportive sole that only flexes at the ball of foot, and then not too much, to account for biomechanics gait issues. I’m only 44, but the varicose veins have always been there. This humble glove flat has a cushioned footbed but the insoles are not removable. In the 12, I would need to add padding to account for a too-large fit (the 12M in frappe felt noticeably roomier on my right foot than on my left), and the 11M was too tight for me. The silver 12M was a snugger, better fit on me, but I have no need to have my feet attract so much attention in the shimmery silver leather. I worried that the finish on both hues might peel or damage in time, and these unique shades are more difficult to repair (or hide damage).
