Cargo Midi Skirt

The sizing guideline stated a M = 8. I wear a size 8 (talbots, farm rio 8/M, akris punto, ming wang, size S). I ordered a M and it is tight through the hips and waist. It is a pencil skirt, so . . perhaps it runs a little small/tight due to the structure of the skirt. I returned the skirt and i am waiting for a L. For reference i am 5'5' and weight 138 (yes, even after the holiday fun/cheer!). i am not hippy, other pencil skirts i own fit fine - denim, corduroy.

I am so pleased with this because the fabric is normal cotton twill with barely any stretch. It fits me a lot like the picture--a bit of a lower rise, mid-calf length, thoughtful waist styling and belt loops. The cargo pockets are just right, and there are side pockets as well. I'm so excited because wearing this all fall and winter is going to be SO MUCH FUN. I washed it once and dried it in the dryer, and I'm pretty sure it shrank a little. I want to order another one but that seems greedy.
