Koio > Common Projects
I own five pairs of Common Projects and one pair of Koio Carpi. It's a cheaper and better quality version of Common Project Achilles. I LOVE LOVE my Koios! Leather is soooooooooooo supple and soft. My goodness! Highly Highly Recommend! :-)

Wore for months - never broke in
I wanted to like these. I wore them every day for a few months, but was never able to break them in. I'd have to wear double pairs of socks and bandaids, and by the end, it never got any better. These are without a doubt the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. I really thought they'd eventually break in, but I think the leather just got worse as I wore them. Can't recommend.

Great white sneaker
Just an all around great white shoe. The leather is supple compared to other competitors. The shoe provides a fair amount of support but nothing stellar. I found the shoe to be very comfortable. It's not as bulky looking as the Greats sneakers and I found them to be very attractive. to wear with just about anything. The only thing that was hard to digest is the price. I have a pair of Lacoste l.12.12 sneakers that has the same silhouette, fit, feel and look that was half the price of these. I believe these may age much better, because the leather appears to be a couple of grades better. Only time will tell. I'm very happy with these.

Sleek, Clean, Perfect!
Clean sleek low cut sneaker for the discerning sneaker connoisseur. These sneakers are hands down the best high end luxury sneakers on the market. These are on par with the Common Projects Achilles Low (CP AL's) for craftsmanship, material, finish and overall quality. They have an identical look and profile to the CP AL's, so much so I actually thought that the founders of CP had split and this was a result of one of the founders offering the same product for less. Where these beat the CP's is the price. One cannot argue with $248 vs $411, for pretty much the exact same shoe. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Great Pair of Italian Sneakers
Great looking pair of versatile, minimalist sneakers. The refreshingly clean, simple lines of this shoe is suitable for any occasion from casual jeans to a suit — and everything in between. I tried the Common Projects Achilles Low and, IMHO, think this is a better shoe because of the suede heel lining and the lace holders in the tongue. All other things being equal, the $175 price differential is the clincher.

Size Down & Castagna Brown Color
Purchased Triple White, Triple Black and Castagna Brown in size 8 - -My typical shoe size is 8D in dress, casual and sneakers from domestic and international brands, but the Koio Capri size 8 was too large (with thin socks); I plan to wear them business casual with socks and weekend casual with no-show socks. They were too large even when the laces were overtightened; my ankle still moved forward and side-to-side straight out of the box. Also, there was too much room in front of my toes. The Castagna Brown was way too light and no where close to the color in photographs on this website or the online review videos. Returning all 3 pairs, but plan to order the Triple White and Triple Black in size 7. Some online reviews recommend sizing down, which I now support. Disappointed about the Castagna Brown, but plan to view them at the Koio boutique at some point in the future during a business trip to NYC or Boston. Otherwise, the overall quality and style is great.
