Capa Hybrid Hooded Water Repellent Puffer Jacket

This jacket was interesting but I was not sure how often i would actually wear it. It’s on the thin side but has the insulated parts. I would say it’s kind of like a thin long sleeve + vest combo situation. In the end, I decided to return it because I thought I would wear the other jackets I bought more often.

I have the Fuego Down Hooded Jacket that I love and wanted something that was just a tad lighter for the season between winter and spring where I need some warmth and wind breaking features but not a heavier coat. This fits the bill perfectly and also fits perfectly. Bonus that I could order it in the same colorway as my Fuego!

I ordered two sizes: Small and Medium. I am tall (5’10”) and slim. The small fit better around and I liked the way the sleeves hugged my arms. However it was too short and pulled under the arm pits. I kept the looser fitting medium for the length although it was a bit bigger around and boxier than I preferred. I wore it Nordic skiing today and it was perfect. Warm but not too hot and breathable. Good pockets.
