Canfield Sport Leather Strap Watch, 45mm

This is my 3rd Shinola watch, so you can tell I'm a fan. The quality of the watch, and watchband is excellent, and what you expect from Shinola.  The watch is large at 45mm. I was concerned of the size as I have a smaller wrist, but the watch doesn't wear big. It's only slightly larger than my daily diver watch. A unique feature is the date, it's displayed with a hand and a small orange half-moon. The timing function works really well, down to 1/10 of a second. Not easy to see in the pictures but on the left side, and on the top right side are small buttons, flush with the watch that advance the day, date, month. With most watches for a 30 day month to set the next day to 1 you need to pull the crown, and hope you don't pull it too far and which stops the watch, advance the date and re-set the time. A fun but silly feature is the month - if you don't know the month then why would you care about the time? The other watch I considered is the Shinola Runwell Chronograph Leather Strap Watch, 41mm. Smaller size, not as many items on the face, but I'm very glad with my decision.
