Candie's redesign failure
I have worn Candie's for many years- actually decades. I have a vintage pair in my closet. Someone thought they could improve on the original design, and they failed. The shoe is not well balanced and is missing the raised area near the base of the big toe that helps hold your foot in place. The leather is not shaped correctly to keep your foot from sliding. This attempt at redesign is a failure! The original design is what made Candie’s a go to shoe. I suggest leaving what was not broken alone. I returned both pairs I ordered.

Size down, or don’t buy.
Super cute, I had high hopes for these shoes. Im that girl that buys clothes to go with the shoes.
but I was sadly disappointed. They are extremely uncomfortable to walk in. The balls of my feet hurt within the first few seconds of putting these on.
I’m a 7.5. I sized up to a 8 thinking that would be best because I didn’t want my heel hanging off the back if I sized down. That was a mistake. They were so wide, I had a gap between the leather top of the shoe and my foot. And I’m not a tiny woman. They are going back.
