Mystique Down Parka with Genuine Coyote Fur Trim

I live in Boston, do not own a car and walk everywhere. I've been searching for three years for a coat that would be fashionable and keep me warm. After a lot of research I learned that I could not have both, and being warm would make me happier. Canada Goose has a lifetime warranty on their coats. So do two other serious outerwear companies (the fashion forward companies do not have lifetime warranties) I researched but this coat is superior: -It's down fill but the exterior fabric is weather resistant/weather proof which means you'll stay dry, opposed to the nylon used on the majority of puffy down coats. -The length will keep your entire body warm. Plus, there's a bottom zip so you can increase the vent so you can be more comfortable seated, or if you walk with a longer stride. -Knit cuffs keep cold air from traveling up the sleeve. -Fleece lined pockets are a little bit higher than most coats but I've found that this keeps your arms closer to your body, keeping you warmer. -Genuine fur trim on the hood has a flexible wire on the inside. This means you can set the hood around your face to your preference. If you want a little more room, you can open it up or you can make the opening higher, closer in for windier conditions, etc. This is a really smart feature. If there is going to be fur trim on a coat, I've found that genuine fur wears far superior to faux fur. -Though I always wanted a belted coat, this is cut with contour so there is a waistline. -Shopping straps. There are two straps near the shoulders on the interior of the coat and I thought they were for helping it stay on a hanger. I learned that what they are really for is if you get hot while shopping, you take off the coat and slip your arms through the straps and wear the coat like a backpack. Brilliant. This isn't the least expensive or most expensive coat on the market. However, it does cost more than most and consider it a wise investment.
