Warm and "Cool."
I have many "fall" jackets, and one really heavy duty winter jacket (also Canada Goose). What was missing in my cold weather arsenal was something for those in between temperatures.
The MacMillan looked like it would fit the bill. I tried on both the camo, and the black... but ultimately ended up going with black. While camo is somewhat "classic" it's hard to say how in-fashion it will be 5 years from now. Black is going to look great for an indefinite amount of time. When you're spending this kind of money on a jacket, you want to make sure you'll get years of use.
Here's what I love about the jacket;
The fit is great. I am 6' tall, and 155lbs. I ordered a size small, and it was perfect. I have a fairly long torso, and this jacket is still long enough that I don't feel like my waist is exposed. It's a slim fit, which is nice. Winter outwear can end up turning you into a big poof. But, the cut of this jacket is flattering to the form, and sits nicely where it's supposed to.
The back of the jacket is slightly longer, and covers your backside a little bit, which is great.
The hood can be worn several ways, from slight coverage, to full-on tunnel hood for maximum protection. There is also an elastic drawstring in the hood to adjust the fit. As well as a belt-type tightener on the back of the hood to increase or decrease the overall size of the hood.
I also love that it's not shiny! So many down jackets are made from a shiny material, and that's not my favorite. This has a nice matte finish that looks great.
Here's what I don't love about this jacket;
Honestly, not much. It's pretty great. My main complaint is there is no internal or bottom elastic drawstring to keep the coat closer to your body. My other Canada Goose jacket has this feature, and it's really nice for added warmth. The bottom of the jacket can't really be tightened, so it's a little bit more open than I would like. But, this is a very small complaint.
Final thoughts;
You really get what you pay for with Canada Goose. Their
website says that it takes 450 hours to make every Canada Goose jacket, and they are all inspected by hand to make sure everything is top notch. You really can tell. I know that there is a "status" aspect of owning this kind of coat, and I'm sure that the prices are higher because of that. But, a coat made in Canada, with a lifetime warranty, that is also fashionable, and functional? It's hard to go wrong.

Why your Canadian brand clothes are all outdated, they are all styles from last year, can you be a little creative? Or the number should be complete. Thank you

style and quality
This is my first Canada goose jacket and first ever to reach this almost 1k price tag. They say you get what you paid for and it’s so true for this product. Right away you can feel the difference once you wear them. How nice, warm and comfortable it is to wear. Love it, no regrets.

I‘d buy it again.
Absolutely pleased with this piece. It’s quality is immediately noticeable. It just “feels” like a great garment. It is extremely warm. It’s also nice when it’s not quite to cold to wear unzipped. The fit is great. It’s not a bulky jacket that is bothersome and in the way. Some might feel like the hood is a bit much. I could see that. It’s a large hood. However, I like the way it shelters the back of my neck. I imagine I’ll love it when I’m outside and dealing with the elements. When fully zipped it will do a fantastic job of shielding your entire head and face. This is an investment. I feel confident that this coat will easily last a very, very long time.

Great coat!
Great coat- very warm. Usually wear a size "L" but had to return for an "XL" due to the slim fit. The price is a tad high, but I will have the coat for a long time.

warmest coat ever
in a sea of black Canada Goose coats, this one definitely stands out I’ve had it less than a month but have received more compliments while wearing this coat than anyone I’ve ever owned before especially the color
