Lorette Water Resistant 625 Fill Power Down Parka

OK, so I bought this coat in the store and wasn't completely sold on the color. Then the "slim fit" Lorette came back in stock online. I hadn't worn this one yet (tags still attached and all), so I ordered the "slim fit" darker navy one with the black arm tag to compare. Strange thing is that the "regular" fit is much slimmer through the middle waist, length, and does not bell out so much at the bottom. Also, the sleeves are a little shorter and little tighter right at the arm pit than the slim fit. So, hhhmmmm ???? While I like the darker Marine navy color better, I kept this one and returned the other. The slim fit oddly belled out a lot at the bottom, was looser in the middle and the sleeves were at least a couple of inches longer and a little roomier on the biceps. For reference, I'm 5'2", 150lbs but have a muscular build. I do aerial fitness, so my upper arms are pretty large. I bought/ordered M in both and kept the traditional fit which actually was much more slimming on me. All said, I do think that if you are a taller person, the slim fit would not look so oddly wide at the bottom if it hit you mid thigh and not right above the knee like on me. Four stars because of brighter Admiral blue color and HUGE hood vs the darker Marine blue. Yet to wear, but feels like it'll be a toasty warm coat. Hope this helps...

Although there is nothing wrong with this coat I did return it. I have several Canada Goose coats, jackets and vests and have always happy with the quality, comfort, fit and warmth; all of them are size Small. I am 5'4", 115 lbs., but 34D across the chest. I ordered a small in this coat but it was the size of a medium, clearly noticeable in the shoulders that did not sit on my shoulders, sleeves that were way too long, and just really big everywhere else. I returned it; the return experience at Nordstrom's was so easy, I think the whole process took less than 5 minutes. Then I bought a Canada Goose Shelburne, size small, that fits perfectly!

I love this jacket so much! Recently, it has gotten so cold in Seattle I needed a warmer Canada Goose jacket! I love this one because it is more fitted and the chevron quilting is more flattering and hides my belly. I love the hood it keeps me nice and dry! I highly recommend this jacket. It does run snug but i ended up getting my regular size. The upper arms are a bit snug but hopefully that will stretch out a bit. My puffer CG jackets were not cutting it with the cold. This is my 8th CG jacket.

I love the coat. It fits well and the quality is great. However, I was very disappointed that I received it folded in half in a plastic bag. Not what I was expecting for that price. When I called to question where the box, hanger and garment bag were I couldn’t get an answer. If I didn’t purchase it on sale I would have returned it and bought it directly from Canada Goose.
