LOVE this jacket!
I’ve been wanting a red Canada Goose coat for so long! I finally pulled the trigger and I’m so happy with my purchase. I was really apprehensive about what size to order after reading so many reviews about how small their jackets run. Nordstrom only had the Large left in red so I took a chance and ordered it (I really felt like it was going to be too small). The jacket fits perfectly! There’s even room for a sweater underneath. I’m 5’2” and short waisted, I normally wear a Large in jackets.
This jacket is lightweight (perfect for travel) but warm, stylish (goes in at the waist) and comfortable. I’m so happy with it!

DO NOT BUY
I don’t normally give reviews but I had to on this one the way Canada Goose followed up with my case was disgraceful. I bought this jacket in 2022 and have washed twice. The first time I did the down was so flat I sent to warranty dept where they sent it to be cleaned where it says on washing instructions not to I washed mine with there instructions to wash. I paid for shipping they sent it back to me. I washed it a second time and it looked worse than ever I sent it back to Canada Goose and they got it inspected and said nothing wrong I sent lots of pictures and it looked like something I could throw away. The follow up from Canada Goose was absolutely awful they kept sending me back emails to say the people in warranty department that inspected my jacket said nothing at all wrong with this 700 dollar jacket. They said sending back to me I said I want a credit note a return or something in replace of this jacket and said they would not do anything and will send the jacket back to me. I will not wear this jacket again it looks nothing like a bought it. The puffiness is all gone out of it. Canada Goose I will never buy from them again. I am giving my honest opinion here and I want as many people to know how this company do not look after their customers. We have other jackets from this place and for this reason we will never wash them due to this turnout. I have asked many times how to take care of there product but nobody gets back to me. We will never again buy from this company all around there service to the customer is absolutely atrocious. Stay away

great fit
This is a light down-filled jacket similar weight to the Patagonia Down Jacket. Good for Spring/Fall in the Northeast or a bit into the winter as well in the Pacific Northwest. I ordered both and ended up keeping this one because of the fit. I bought a medium after reading reviews. For the Patagonia I ordered a small and it also fit. So if you fit into a Patagonia small typically, order a medium in this as well. I am 5’5 and half, between 135-140 lbs, bra 34-36C, and wear size 28 jeans in denim. The arm length is great. It could fit someone with longer arms than me. I would say I have a bit longer than average arm length. The shoulders are probably on the narrow side. I have narrow shoulders and they fit me fine. The cut of the jacket is flattering for a packable down - fitted at the waist and not boxy, slight flare at the bottom so its not overly tight in the hips. Love the deep hood. Bought red which is a bright red vs a deeper red.

too tight fitting
The fit of this is awful! Fits like a body suit without room to spare for a sweater/sweatshirt. Size up at least one size (or more). I returned it & was told others have as well.

Runs small
The jacket is just okay, nothing special! It’s light and it has a good cut because it’s tight! However, I ordered a size up and it was still small. The price is not justified with the quality. The quality is equivalent to a Patagonia but it’s more than twice the price. Just get a Patagonia!

I had to return my large, which was not true to size. Usually, in Canada Goose large fits me well. This one is so tight on my chest. I can’t even breathe. I have to size up when it is in stock. Other than that, I love it the water repels right off of it. I was looking for a coat to wear on our Alaska cruise. 5’7 150lbs
