Ground Chelsea Boot (Women)

These Ground Chelsea boots appeared at first to be a great chunky meets minimalist look, great for me. The grippy, genuine Michelin tread that generously covers the base of the boot is a great feature for those who wish to manage well anywhere snow, ice and people contend for a compatible coexistence. With a pair of these boots, the people win, that is if the shoe fits. Feet will be dry and comfortable after a day in the elements. The rubber sole will protect while cleaning up easily. Anything that reaches the smooth, treated uppers above the ample protective rubber sole and platform ought to easily wipe clean, so wearers will not have to worry very much about salt, brine and everything else that’s belongs on roads and sidewalks, and not on a good pair of boots. The Ground Chelsea is a well made boot, however, the fit is off. The Euro sizing is about 1/4” short in length and my size was not equal to the suggested US equivalent. There was ample width and room to slip my foot into the boot yet the heel was not snug; It slipped a bit. The width is relaxed, even while wearing medium-weight winter socks. The boot opening is ample, and with my slender legs within the profile was overstated, causing the desired minimalism to morph into something rather refractory. Disappointed, I returned them.
