lovely dress
Just received this dress and am sooo disappointed it’s too small and they don’t have the next size up (xl - I’m 5’7” and 160). It falls about to the ankle, the lace is so pretty and soft. The V neck is lower than I expected but not horrible. Grab it if you can.

A lot of fabric!
I was a huge fan of Petal and Pup when I first found them through Nordstrom. XS seemed to always fit me perfectly. The last three dresses I have purchased have been quite big on me. I know my body hasn’t changed because other brands are fitting exactly the same as they always have. I am worried that Petal and Pup has succumbed to “vanity sizing.”
Overall, this dress was quite large for me. The side zipper was very difficult to slide, and the proofs at the top of the shoulders made the dress look matronly and frumpy material is nice and thick.

Disappointed
I’ll start with the negatives- the tag says this dress is 100% cotton, but it really doesn’t feel like it. It feels like a polyester blend at least, but I have no way to confirm that. It is very see through- it will definitely require an additional slip. The zipper is low quality and it gets stuck literally every time you use it. I’m going to keep the dress, but I won’t be buying this brand again. On the plus side- the sizing is accurate. I am 5’9” and 143 lbs and I got a small. I also like the midi length.

great for wide hips
Purchased x-large (usually wear 12 or 14, 38D/DD). Very pretty. Dress fit perfect through bust and waist but way tooooo much much fabric (flared out like Cinderella) in hips. Bottom could fit a dress size 18. Returned.

can see right through it
The lining is VERY sheer. Can see the tag’s barcode right through it. The zipper is also very cheap & it got stuck when trying it on. I returned it.

So beautiful!
I ordered this to pick up and try on at Nordstrom. The photos looked great but sometimes it's hard to judge clothing items before you see them in person. I am shocked by how beautiful this dress is. I might be one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever owned. So, yes you could say that I am pleased.
