Cable Knit Zip Cardigan

This Madewell sweater is true to size. I am usually a size xs or small in tops/sweaters/blouses overall. The cableknit, Olive color with cream edges, and texture is lovely. It's mostly cotton with no wool or acrylic so it is not itchy at all. I had to return because I could not justify the price for a sweater to wear for only the Winter season where I live and for my running around mom style I might not get enough wear for the cost. If it was a little lighter, I might have been tempted to keep it. But overall if you live in a colder climate it might work for multiple seasons and be worth the $$$ or if you have to dress business casual on a daily basis it could work better for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cardigan. I am a little nervous about washing it because the material is so soft. It is warm without being super heavy or bulky. It’s a little long on me so I appreciate being able to unzip it from the bottom. Took one star off because it is incredibly hard to zip back if you unfasten it all the way.

It was a little small when I tried on my regular size so I sized up so it would not be tight on me. It’s very comfortable and it looks nice with a pair of jeans and a pair of dress pants. It’s the perfect weight.
