C Magnifique Underwire Minimizer Bra

Now, ladies, at my age of 66 years, I've tried many, many bras. Nordstrom has the best, of the best bras, believe me. Recently on a visit to the Providence, RI Nordstrom store, I was measured by the extremely pleasant young saleslady, as I hadn't been measured in about 2 years. She was excellent. I was wearing the wrong size, having lost about 10 lbs. in the past year. What a difference to wear a proper fitting bra! She picked out this style and I bought 2 bras, in size 38 DDD; who knew?? I a coming back for another bra in a different color--chose blue and beige the first time!!

I used to love this bra. I bought 4 last year during anniversary sale and was very excited to restock them for the year during this years anniversary. I wear a 40DDD and it's very hard to find bras that are supportive but don't have a ridiculous amount of underwire. Most bras in larger cup sizes the underwire goes way, way up in the front, to the point where it won't lay flat on the chest and you can see it under clothes, and under the armpits it will poke you, and it makes wearing them miserable. I bought three this year, just grabbed them in my size, and after having one on for only an hour I was almost in tears. They've done what everyone else does and made the extra long underwire. I am the exact same size I was last year(I used to work for a lingerie company and know how to fit myself properly for a bra), and these fit terribly. You could see the C charm that's in the middle of the bra, through my dress, because the underwire sticks up so far. It's so disappointing they felt the need to change this bra for larger sizes because it really was the perfect bra previously. It already had a ton of support, the extra underwire was not needed.
