Young Rose Eau de Parfum

Introduced to the brand through a sample (yeah those samples lure you in). Love the smell. Feminine, sweet but not too sweet, lightly rose scented. I don’t smell it on my after 15-30 minutes but my coworker said she could smell it the minute she walks in the room (and that was 3 hrs after I put on). I also have parfums De Marly (among other Jo Malone) but I don’t like it after purchased it. Also bought Byredo Mojave Ghost (as I was told is the most popular), however, I reached for Young Rose when I want to feel pretty and attractive. Great gift for the ladies .., attention gentlemen!!

I adore this fragrance. It's crisp and bright with an opening of deliciously musky candied citrus peel. Unfortunately, this is the first Byredo fragrance where I find myself agreeing with comments pertaining to longevity: this one has none! I'm heart broken as I love the fragrance, but I apply 2-4 sprays and go run errands for a couple hours, and by the time I get home it's barely perceptible. I see comments on just about every Byredo fragrance wishing longevity was longer so take this with a grain of salt, but this one is truly short lived. If I had unlimited resources and ability to reapply all day that'd be one thing, but, I need a bit better performance at this price point.

I purchased this for my wife after trying a sample a few years back. We loved the fragrance and found no other comparison between the time we had a sample up until this past Mother’s Day (2yrs between sample and purchase). Ordering and pick-up process was a first class experience. The only issue we’ve encountered is the quality of the product. My wife has to practically bathe in the fragrance and even then, we are unable to smell it after 10min. The sample did not respond that way during the trial period which has us baffled. Is it possible we received a bad batch? What options do we have to replace this with another bottle as we still want the fragrance?

I first received this perfume as a sample when I was trying out a different perfume (and a different brand all together). The INSTANT I sprayed the sample bottle, I knew I found a special scent… my perfect match! It appeals to my love for woody and more masculine scents while giving it a generous serving of feminine floral notes. I usually stray from floral because I find it smells old or like I shoved my head into a bouquet and took a bite out of it *yuck*. This scent was the perfect marriage. I have since repurchased 4 times and am about to reorder it a 5th time. Could not recommend enough
