Details & care
What it is: A long-lasting, jumbo eye pencil that defines eyes with intense pigmentation and a creamy, ultragliding application.
What it does: A contemporary embodiment of BYREDO founder Ben Gorham's Indian heritage, this eye pencil can be applied impeccably to the waterline, melted across the lashline or smudged across the lid for a smoky finish. It's easily smudgeable, versatile and resistant to sweat and humidity, and it comes with a sharpener made of recycled plastic.

BYREDO
After traveling to his mother's hometown in India, BYREDO founder Ben Gorham became intrigued by scent and memory. Mentored by world-renowned perfumers, he started his line of luxury fragrances in Stockholm in 2006, focusing on raw, high-quality ingredients. Today, BYREDO candles, perfumes and more are known as much for their minimalist, stylistic packaging as they are for their irresistible scents.

An eye pencil???
This stubby eye pencil is so hard and so abrasive, the only thing I’d use it for is drawing on paper.. certainly not on my delicate eye skin. It’s so tiny, also.. ridiculous product. Back to the drawing board for this product Byredo!

messy
I was so excited for this perfect shade, but it smudges everywhere I don’t want it to. Just a couple hours after application I have small navy smudges on my under eye area. Not the look I’m going for. I expected more from a $30 pencil.

Ambivalent Crayon Kajal
I’m a fan of Kohl/kajal pencils that you need to sharpen. Wood. This shade, Ambivalent, is a burgundy brown. It goes on the waterline without a hitch. Application to the upper lash line requires a bit more patience. It doesn’t glide on but it also doesn’t tug that delicate, and in my case textured (wrinkled), skin. It’s somewhere in the middle. The lower lash line is a breeze. I suspect it would be an easier application in warmer climates. It does blend out very nicely with a brush or finger tip. There is some shine there but very slight. Mica is an ingredient. The length is roughly 4 inches and it is a chubby lil thing. Comes with a sharpener which is handy in that it is not the typical pencil size that fits most sharpeners. Makes an obvious and lovely companion to the Stateof Emotion eyeshadow palette.

Easy Grip and Sharp Tip!
Easy to use and handle and the tip stays sharp. Best eye liner I have found. Wish it was available in more colors.

Chaandee
A metallic silver pencil, that makes my Hazel eyes pop. I love the way it looks on me and wear it often. Got a golden tan? This pencil color brings out the shimmering sun-kissed goddess. Highly recommend for any age
