What it is: An interpretation of Baume de Rose in an ultra-gentle lip scrub that delicately smoothes, refines and beautifies the lips.
What it does: Supercharged with rose butter, rose flower essential wax, rose hip oil and oil extracts of black rose and pastel rose, this sugary-rich balm formula leaves the lips and lip contour hydrated, nourished and more comfortable. Enriched with sugar micro-crystals, its mouthwatering texture melts on contact with the lips, providing an ultrafine and sensorial exfoliating action.

Does what it says
I purchased a full size product and will be repurchasing. This product really removes dead skin from the first use and with regular leaves lips soft and smooth. I apply this as I am doing my make up before applying lipstick. By the time I come to apply my lipstick lips are smooth and soft and it provides great moisturising base. Leaves your lipstick look looking smooth and slick and difficult to smudge off. At other times will apply before going to bed. Only need to use once a day to see results.

Not keen
I’m not keen on this product, it’s very sugary and doesn’t seem to do much to expoliate the lips, just leaves a sugary residue, doesn’t feel like a lip balm at all, I wouldn’t recommend it as a lip balm and it’s not pleasant after brushing your teeth!

Pretty but not effective
I love most of the By Terry products, but this lip scrub did not impress me for some reason. The packaging is cute and looks pretty on my bathroom shelf, but it doesn’t make much difference to my lips unfortunately. Smells lovely and I will continue using the scrub, but probably would not repurchase.

Que dire de plus que le descriptif ?
Par curiosité, je l'ai essayé comme peeling sur le visage et bien j'ai été surprise du résultat.
Les grains sont un peu gros mais par contre par après j'ai eu le teint rose bébé et la très très douce.
Il faudrait le même produit pour le visage mais avec des grains plus fins et un plus gros tube avec un flacon pompe ;-)

I purchased this along with the lip balm, which I love. I thought this would be equally impressive and good to pair up with the balm but I didn’t find it very effective. The exfoliating beads in it were few and far between making it just really a cream consistency that didn’t do much. I will continue to use it up but will not purchase again.

Sickly scent
Got this as a gift from a friend who swears by it. Sadly I found the scent just a little too sickly - if you’re not a fan of rose scent I would avoid it. As a lip exfoliation it was average as there’s not enough of a grainy texture for it to feel that gentle scrub needed. If you don’t mind floral scents and are just looking for something gentle to moisturise and treat your lips then it’s ok.
