30th Birthday Gift
I bought this recently for my husband. We both love it... It's classic and very handsome. The kind of watch he will have forever. My husband doesn't wear any jewelry so I wanted to find him something that wasn't too shiny or flashy. The gunmetal (which is basically a dark pewter) is perfect for him. The watch face is nice and clean; not too busy like many other designs. Easy to tell the time with a quick glance. He can wear this with a suit or something more casual.

Beautiful watch, but serious band problems.
I bought this watch and within two months the black finish started to wear off the band. Since it is coated, I was told this happens often (why I was not told when shopping for it is another question). I ended up exchanging it for the silver version which I don't like as much, but at least the band will last more than 2 months before having to get it serviced.

My bf loved it!
I purchased this watch for our anniversary and when he opened his gift, he was stunned! He asked me, "are you out of your mind?!" He's been wearing it ever since and like the other reviewer mentioned, it's understated and very classy! It goes with anything and you can dress it up or down.

Beautiful Piece
This watch is versatile and functional. However due to the large face circumference and thickness it is a bit heavier than other watches, but it's not intolerable. I had a coworker comment on it from across a large conference table, the piece gets a lot of attention.

Beautiful piece
Like another reviewer, I went to the store fully intending to purchase a Movado. However, when the Movado felt/looked cheap I started browsing and came across this Burberry. It's a beautiful piece, feels solid/well-made, and will complement just about every color and style of clothes.
I'll be curious to see how it holds up after a few months (another reviewer mentioned issues with the finish). I'll follow up after my BF has worn it for a few months.
Incidentally, the store had two of these in stock, one was a lighter gunmetal, the other darker ... I preferred the darker. I mention this only to make you all aware that there may be differences in color.

Just a beautiful watch
I first ordered a leather strap Burberry watch but I was disappointed with the quality of the band and it didn't stand out at all. But this watch is just stunning. The color combination of gunmetal and blue is really eye catching! The picture here shows the bracelet as matte, but it actually has shiny accents in the middle. It has a good weight to it and feels very high quality. Having said that I wouldn't pay full price for this. But the anniversary sale made this a great deal.
